The holiday season has arrived which means lots of parties and get togethers. Between those I host and those I’m invited to, my calendar is full to bursting – which is just the way I like it, spending time with family and friends.
But this also means coming up with food, drinks… and with creative gift ideas.
It can be a little overwhelming. Today though, I have 2 fabulous ideas for you – for a classic vodka martini cocktail and for a lovely gift that will definitely help you “simplify” things this holiday season!
For years, I’ve always given bottles of wine as gifts and although appreciated, they’ve become a little boring. I love to serve a “signature” cocktail at parties and get togethers – it’s a wonderful ice breaker (no pun intended) and it’s a lovely way to welcome friends and family during the holidays. How to make A Grey Goose Vodka Martini….
First, make sure you stock up on Grey Goose Vodka….
Pour a shot of Grey Goose Original Vodka..
Add to a mixing glass along with the vermouth and bitters. Add ice and stir!
Pour into a chilled cocktail glass..
Garnish and serve!
I know my guests will love this “twist” on the classic vodka martini cocktail. With a nod to the “dirty martini lovers”, I’ve substituted a strip of preserved lemon in place of the standard strip of lemon zest.
Speaking of serving- here’s a “tip”: For large parties set up a DIY bar and let your guests mix up their own Grey Goose Vodka Martini with a Twist.
It’s fun the for the guests and definitely simplifies things for you!
