Ingredients

Hendrick's gin
¾
oz.
fresh lemon juice
½
oz.
lavender simple syrup
2 to 3
oz.
sparkling wine
lemon peel
optional
fresh lavender flowers
optional
Lavender syrup

tablespoons
dried lavender buds
you can order culinary lavender from Amazon or from the Savory Spice Shop

Instructions
Combine the gin, fresh lemon juice and lavender syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake and strain into a coupe or champagne flute.
Top with sparkling wine, garnish with lemon and lavender flowers and serve.
For the Lavender Simple Syrup
Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium high heat.
Cook for 5 minutes until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Strain into a clean container.
Leftover syrup should be refrigerated in a sealed container.
The syrup will last up to a month if kept refrigerated.
Notes
You will have extra lavender syrup! Use it to sweeten lemonade, iced tea and fresh berries.
