Tamarind Margarita
Flavored with tamarind concentrate, this tamarind margarita cocktail is sweet, tangy and perfect with chips, salsa and guacamole.

- 2 oz. silver tequila I used Patron Silver
- ¾ oz. tamarind concentrate
- ¾ oz. homemade sweet and sour mix
- ¼ oz. fresh lime juice
- ¼ oz. agave nectar
- fresh lime slices optional
- fresh kumquat slices optional
- kosher salt optional
Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shake
Fill the shaker ⅔rd's full with ice
.Shake for 10 - 15 seconds.
Strain over ice into a rocks glass, rimmed with salt if desired.
Garnish with fresh lime and kumquat slices if desired.
- Refrigerate leftover tamarind concentrate.
- TIP: Add a little of the concentrate to dressings and marinades - basically anything that uses lemon/ lime juice!
