Pomelo and Mint Margarita

One added bonus in this cocktail is that since pomelos are rather large, you will only need 1 for two cocktails! This also works well as a non alcoholic drink!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. freshly squeezed pomelo juice about ½ of a pomelo
  • 1 ½ oz. Blano tequila I used Patron Silver
  • ½ oz. agave syrup mix 1 Tablespoon agave nectar with 1 Tablespoon of water and stir or shake to combine
  • 4 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Combine the pomelo juice, tequila agave syrup and mint leaves in a shaker. Add ice. Shake for 30 - 40 seconds until shaker is cold. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain cocktail into a rocks glass over ice.
